Dinner, campfire & a story
Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 24. We’ll have vegetable and meat options, plus mac and cheese for the kids. After dinner, gather around the campfire for a story and an evening together. Families who would like to camp can bring a tent and set up around the outdoor classrooms. Come early to get settled before dinner if you can; arriving later or setting up after dinner is welcome, too. Dinner guests don’t need to stay overnight. We’ll have oatmeal with cinnamon and brown sugar, plus coffee, for breakfast. There are no scheduled activities afterward—head home whenever you’re ready, or take your time packing up. Anyone who would like to attend church on the same grounds is welcome to join.
What to bring
If you’re camping, bring your tent, bedding, and whatever your family needs for a comfortable night outdoors. Warm layers and a flashlight are a good idea.
Let us know you’re coming
Please RSVP as soon as you can so we can plan the food. Signups remain open right up until the event. There’s no cost and no attendance limit for school families.
